Medical Oncology MA, LPN, RN

Provides administrative and clinical tasks to keep the medical oncology clinic operating efficiently. This Per Diem position is responsible for, but not limited to, initiating, and updating patients? medical records, insurance pre-authorizations support, telephone communication, handling correspondence, arranging services and physician pharmaceutical orders, making patient referrals, ordering lab and imaging studies, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, and ensuring examination rooms are kept clean, maintain inventory supplies, and dispose of contaminated supplies. This position requires excellent customer service skills and assists providers as needed. Serves as the primary point of contact with the Medical Oncologist and the multidisciplinary team to achieve an optimal clinical outcome for patients.
