Food Service Director

Come join our great team at Sidney Health Center as the Food Service Director, this is a Full-Time exempt position. This position reports directly to the Senior Executive Patient Experience and is responsible for planning, developing, and directing the overall operations of the Food Service Department. Assures that quality food and nutrition services are provided daily and that the Food Service Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Operates in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility food service supplies including estimates on equipment, food, supplies, and other related costs. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with food service employees and with other departments to provide a positive food service experience for patients, residents, visitors, and employees. Responsible for developing a stable, competent workforce and encouraging growth of personnel. This position will interface with patients, staff and visitors and must possess exceptional customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask are required. Must be able to resolve problems and respond to complaints in a positive, productive manner using sound judgement. Previous supervisory experience of 2 years or more is required; health care food service management experience preferred, Sidney Health Center offers competitive wages and benefits including insurance and paid time off.
